How do I generate a Bill from a Purchase Order or Subcontract?

In order to create a Bill from a Subcontract or a Purchase Order, we need to go to the Bills module, then click on the plus sign with the word Bill located at the top right corner and create a New Bill. We have to select the Project, Vendor, Bill #, etc.

Bill from a Subcontract:

When selecting the Vendor, make sure to select the Subcontractor.

Also, remember that the Subcontract needs to exist in Contractor Foreman so you can use it as reference in the box Ref.#

The last step on this process is to click on the box “Add Items to the Bill” and then click on “Import from Subcontracts”.

After the last step is done, double check all the mandatory fields are filled and then save the Bill.

Remember that you can use the actual Bill from your subcontractor and upload it as part of the Bill in your Contractor Foreman, by doing so, everything will be in one place.

Bill from a Purchase Order:

When selecting the Vendor, make sure to select the Vendor or Supplier.

Also, remember that the Purchase Order needs to be created first in Contractor Foreman so you can use it as reference in the box Ref.#
